PhD and MS Positions

We are seeking passionate talents who will contribute to shaping a sustainable world. PhD and MS positions in various aspects of hydrogen technologies are available. Our core faculty members at KUHyTech hail from the College of Science and College of Engineering. Therefore, we will be recruiting students for relevant graduate programs in Chemical and Biological Engineering (CHBI), Chemistry (CHEM), Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (INDR), Materials Science and Engineering (MASE), Mechanical Engineering (MECH), Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBGE), and Physics (PHYS). These graduate programs will play a vital role in driving the research agenda of KUHyTech.

Prospective students with a suitable background in those areas are encouraged to apply! Please follow the Koç University Graduate School of Sciences and Engineering (GSSE) application process. Be sure to specify your interest in hydrogen technologies in your statement of purpose (SoP).

KUHyTech Fellowships

The KUHyTech fellowship is awarded to outstanding MS and PhD students who have demonstrated the potential to be high-achieving scientists and engineers. The fellowship offers the following benefits:

  • Scholarship: up to 50000 TL/mo for PhD and up to 38000 TL/mo for MS students
  • Subsidy for meals (SetCard)
  • Private health insurance

    • The fellowship candidates are nominated by the core faculty and recipients are determined by an in-person interview. Duration of scholarship is 5 years for direct PhD students (without prior MS degree), 4 years for PhD students (without prior MS degree), and 2 years for MS students.
